Unfortunately for Edel, her website was compromised in late 2022 and her hosting company, made the decision to terminate its hosting arrangement with Edel, as the website was generating large amounts of spam email.

Edel then turned to Ian Jackson, a fellow NDBN member for help.

The team at Go2web were able to replace the old website with a new, Avada WordPress website, with all the existing content (and a bit more), to enable Edel to be back online, selling her book and her feng shui courses, within a week of the old website going down.

Edel was already competent in WordPress, so getting her up to speed on the Avada theme did not present a problem.

Go2web now provides hosting for the new website, keeping it safe from hackers, and also provides a background design service to her online business.

Edel also took the opportunity to engage Peter Doherty, of Techsure IT Support (www.techsure.ie), to secure her email service.
