Children In Hospital Ireland
CIH is widely recognised to have played an important role in influencing many positive changes that have occurred in hospital care for children in Ireland over recent decades. Today there are approximately 500 volunteers that facilitate play and provide information services within 14 paediatric units around Ireland.
Go2web was approached by Children in Hospital in 2020 to manage their existing WordPress website. CIH wasn’t getting the type of support or back-up from its existing web provider and needed a change.
For 12 months, Go2web worked with CIH to “tidy-up” the existing website and fix any items that were broken.
In 2021, we were commissioned to redesign the website, using our favoured theme – Avada.
Once the website was completed and launched, Go2web provided a number of face-to-face training sessions with CIH personnel, to give them the skills to manage their own content. As charities are busy places, with constantly moving requirements and initiatives, it was essential that they manage this themselves.
Go2web’s role has now reverted to providing secure hosting, ensuring the website is kept safe from hackers, occasional design and ecommerce input, when required, and on-going Avada training.
